Ladies Golf Club

Purpose

Our club’s purpose is to promote good fellowship and interest in golf and to develop good sportsmanship among women amateur golfers; encourage knowledge of and adherence to the rules and etiquette of golf, and to provide opportunity for competition in golf.

Membership is open to all women who are interested in the purpose of this organization.  All skill levels are welcome.

The Camaloch Ladies 18-hole Golf Club season begins in April and goes through October.  We golf every Tuesday from 7:30 am to 9:00am playing 18 holes of golf each week.

The first Tuesday of each month is a shotgun start.  The rest of the Tuesdays are tee times you make yourself along with at least one other member.

The first Tuesday of each month we hold a club members meeting one hour before the shotgun start.

We have several social events throughout the year including club luncheons and a fundraiser to help build comradery with members of our club.

COMPETITION

There are different types of golf competitions each week.  These generally factor in your handicap thus use NET scores which makes everyone competitive.  There’s also optional weekly KPs, Fewest Putts, and Chip-in competition for $1.50 to get you into all of these.  They are paid out in cash each week.

FLIGHTS

To ensure fair competition the field is divided into Flights by handicaps.  The number of flights will depend on the number of members that golf that day.  This ensures you are competing against those with similar skill levels.

When you join our league you will assign you a Big Sister who will welcome you into our club and give you guidance of all the nuances of our league.
