Our Club

We play golf every Tuesday beginning in April and ending in October. The first, third, and fourth Tuesdays of the month are played with reserved tee-times, and the second Tuesday is a fun shotgun start. In the event a month has five Tuesdays, we play with reserved tee-times.

The second Tuesday is also our monthly meeting prior to our shotgun start. Of course, we follow up with a delicious potluck lunch at our beloved Camaloch Chalet which is our meeting center.

During the meeting, our executive board informs the club with various reports, supplies educational moments on rules and etiquette, and most importantly, we enjoy the comradery of our golfers and the love of the game.

Our Mission

The Camaloch Lassies 9-Hole Golf Club’s mission is to provide an opportunity for competitive golf; encourage knowledge of and adherence to the rules and etiquette of golf; and to generally promote interest in golf and develop good sportsmanship among amateur golfers.

Competitions and Games

The Lassies host a variety of fun and interesting competitions such as holiday themed games.

Flights

Each flight is decided by the players’ handicaps. The flights level out competition and players compete with those with similar skills. Top players in each flight receive awards and payments.

Twilight Golf

During the summer members are invited to play Twilight Golf which is held on selected Monday evenings in June, July and August. This is a fun format played by a member and a partner accompanied by happy hour and a potluck dinner.

Travel Days

Once a month several Lassies go on a road trip. Usually, we go on a Thursday morning to experience a different course to try something new and hone our skills. We generally carpool to the course, play 18 holes, and then meet up for lunch.

Tee It Up For Charity

Each year, we host a special event in which proceeds help a local non-profit business.

Additionally, we have participated in holiday giving to families in our community.
